When you arrive we hope you will notice that we have recently put on a new roof, painted the house a new color and added a mattress topper to each bed for your comfort.
We have also installed new granite counter tops, sinks, faucets and backsplashes in both of our kitchens.
Every bedroom has a new comforter and some also has new decor. We have also added new tv's and stands on the 1st and 2nd floors.
We hope you will enjoy these new additions.
When you cross the intracoastal waterway you will travel over beautiful marshes filled with native birds on your way to Sunset Beach, North Carolina. The island itself is a little piece of paradise with some of the widest beaches you will see on the Atlantic seaboard. The beach is accessible at EVERY street via a wooden walkway through a large expanse of dunes filled with sea oats, grasses, and shrubbery.
We are located in the 8TH row back from the ocean about a FIVE MINUTE WALK to the water. The island is mainly residential and basically lacks commercialism aside from a few shops, a deli/grocery, and a bed and breakfast/motel.
Our beach house at 425 32nd St.on the WEST END of the island has a very unique layout. There is a separate living room, dining area, kitchenette, and bedroom/bathroom upstairs with the remaining bedrooms and living/kitchen/dining areas on the first floor. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor; one bedroom has a king size bed with a connecting bath and the other two bedrooms each have a twin and a queen size bed and share a bath.
Upstairs there is a suite with a king size bed and a bath along with the other amenities listed above. Almost like two houses in one with SEPARATE ENTRANCES for each. It is the perfect home for either two couples, or a family with teenagers who like their privacy, or perhaps young children who need a quiet space, or maybe even for grandparents who came along and would like a little peace and quiet and privacy too. And the widow's watch (or roof deck) has a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset due to the southern exposure of the island. You can even catch a view of the ocean from here.
We love our home and take a great deal of pride in it. We have furnished it in a beach motif and keep it updated to meet all of your needs. The furnishings have been chosen with care and we hope that they will create a comfortable atmosphere for you to vacation in.

The house is supplied with comforters, mattress pads, and pillows all other linens and towels are supplied by the renter. Renters are asked to supply their own paper products and any cleaning supplies they may need. A broom, mop, and vacuum cleaner are available for any immediate cleaning needs. A nominal fee will be charged for cleaning at departure to ensure the cleanliness of the house for our next renters.
Check-in time is 3:30 pm and check-out time is at 10:30 am.These times need to be STRICTLY ADHERED to for my housekeeper to be able to get the entire house cleaned for the next renters.
The rental price listed is for the RENT ONLY. There is an ADDITIONAL $90 CHARGE for housekeeping, $350 SECURITY DEPOSIT, and NC Tax at the rate of 12.75%. We DO NOT accept credit cards. ONLY CHECKS(PERSONAL AND CASHIERS) are accepted and there is a $30 charge for all returned checks.
